Provides remote coverage no matter where the device is located. Users can then see their data on their smart device anywhere they have internet coverage.


Low orbit satellites that complete regular passes so it doesn't matter where users are located, as long as they have a view of the sky they will have coverage.-


The devices "wake" and transmit data when the satellite is passing overhead, which means low power consumption. The 4 x AA batteries required to power the products using the communication method will typically last over a year - and we've chosen to use standard batteries to make it simple and accessible for users.


Satellite technology has proven and robust performance, and the low data rates mean a low subscription too.

Bluetooth / Wi-Fi

Provides remote coverage when the Bluetooh/Wi-Fi adapter of the product is within range of the users home wifi network. Users can then see their data on their smart device anywhere they have internet coverage.


The Wi-Fi adapter (which reads to be within Bluetooth range) sends data to the user's wifi network, which then is visible in their app account and on their phone.


The devices transmit Bluetooth messages regularly at 10-minute intervals. We have chosen this frequency to keep power consumption low. The 2 x AA batteries required to power the products using this communication method will last over a year - and we've chosen to use standard batteries to make it simple and accessible for users.


Since this method leverages the user's Wi-Fi network, there are no subscription fees.

Sigfox

Provies remote coverate when products are within range of the Sigfox network. Users can then see their data on their samrt device anywhere they have internet coverage.


The Sigfox network consists of a network of receivers, typically around regional and urban centers. Our devices that contain Sigfox modules broadcast data and it is picked up by the receivers, just like a mobile phone.


If there has been any change in water levels, the device will broadcast as regularly as 10 minut intervals so users have detailed and up-to-date data. Once the Sigfox network receives the data, it is then transferred to the user's app on their smart device.


As power consumption is low, the 2 x AA batteries required to power the product using this communication method will last over a year - and we've chosen to use standard batteries to make it simple and accessible for users.
