The Trough Gauge is an all-in-one trough level gauge that will provide you readings via satellite.

The measuring device and the satellite communication unit come to you wrapped up in one product, so there is no need to purchase and install multiple products.

Satellite coverage means you are covered, no matter where you are in Australia, if the product has a clear view of the sky, it will provide you with your trough level data. You can even set custom notifications to tell you when the water level in your trough reaches or falls to a certain percentage.

Track the historical levels of your trough and save labour and fuel while you do it. You no longer need to head out and inspect every trough, you can focus on the important things and let the Trough Gauge send the data straight to your phone or smart device.

The first year of the satellite subscription is included with the product, after the first year the subscription is ongoing and the cost is $149 per year.

All-in-one unit

The monitoring device and the satellite radio are included meaning you only need to purchase and set-up one product. No need to purchase the measuring device and the communication device separately.

Set custom notifications and alerts

Decide when you want to be notified. Set alerts at the percentage level, so you can be notified if your trough is overflowing or almost empty.

Fuss-free installation

No tools required. The gauge simply floats in your trough, there is no need to fasten the gauge to the trough, just place it in the water. This means you can move the gauge between troughs. Simply pick it up and move it to the next trough, adjust the height settings if required and it's done - anyone can do it!

Know when your water level isn't right

The Trough Gauge will allow you to identify potential issues with your water level really quickly because it sends regular updates via satellite. You can see whether the trough level is below or above what you expect. If it's below, it might mean there's a valve or line issue upstream. And if it's above, it might indicate an issue with the trough valve.

Track your historical data

Keep track of your historical data in the Rain Harvesting app so that you can make more informed decisions.

Stay connected anywhere

Satellite coverage means that you are connected anywhere. As long as the Trough Gauge has a reasonable view of the sky you will have coverage.
The batteries will last at least 1-year.
The batteries will need to be changed every year or so, which we will alert you to. The other piece of maintenance is just wiping the end of the pressure sensor periodically.
The low orbit satellites will give you up to six readings per day. It doesn't matter where you're located in Australia there will be a satellite pass.
